The City of Renton has implemented a Permit Ready Accessory Dwelling Unit (PRADU) Program to address housing shortages. It streamlines the permitting process to promote construction of adu's which can be used for housing family members or supplemental income. They range from 415-1,000sqft and vary in architectural styles. There are 8 pre-approved models each having 3-6 variations, resulting in 32 unique plan sets. This home is the Townsend Model M2 single story 3 bed/2bath, 989 square feet.

Hi, my name is Anthony and when I purchased my first home, a small run-down rambler in 2006, there were so many things that needed to be done, I was overwhelmed. I quickly realized that I was a natural DIY'er! With my design background and experience in the Navy, I was inspired to start Hammers That Care. I have a strong desire to help people save money by improving their own living space. I care about people and want to see them happy with their home, their investment, so I am determined to change the stigma of Contractors & build trust with our clients to deliver a product that exceeds all expectations!
Hammers That Care connects with our local community, Renton, through our service, education and consistent outreach. Beyond completing the construction projects, we frequently assist residents with urgent repairs, safety and home maintenance issues, taking special care when it’s seniors and families in need. We participate in neighborhood clean-ups and volunteer efforts, offering labor and expertise. We use our social media platform to highlight other local businesses and provide honest advice about home repairs to protect residents from unsafe or predatory contractors. Having teenagers ourselves, we also mentor youth interested in the trades by giving them exposure to real job sites and career pathways. Our customer reviews have highlighted our responsiveness, integrity, and willingness to help which has made us a trusted local resource in Renton. Our goal is to strengthen the neighborhoods we serve by showing up consistently and using our skills to support the community around us.
